Read introductory material:

Make sure you study the Useful EXCEL Learning Resources. Specifically, you will be using Excel Scenario Manager in What-If Analysis, as well as you will use several Excel functions, such as IF functions.
In Project 1 each student completes all assignments individually (except for Assignment 3 – Presentation):
- Assignment 1 – use the provided template file Made4UStarter.xls to start with.
Program into it all the formulas for calculation as instructed in the Case 6 description.
You can check if your formulas are encoded correctly by comparing your results with the provided by me file Made4UAnswers (no formulas only for verification).xls - Assignment 2A – introduce in Excel the 6 scenarios from the Case, and run scenario comparative analysis – this is the central part of this project: you need to use Excel SCENARIO MANAGER!
In Excel go to Data tab, What-if Analysis, Scenario Manager. - Assignment 2B – Memorandum in Word – official communication with recommendations to a banker, based on your scenario analysis
- Assignment 3 (Presentation) is done by the presenting group only.
- You can use Monk-Brady Tutorial F. Giving a Presentation tutorial
- Add audio/video to the presentation.
- Give some guidance on how you went through major milestones working with software to achieve the result.
- Discuss findings and issues you may have encountered while working on the project.
- Conclude on usefulness of the tool for business decision making
- Add 3 discussion questions
